The Primary Stars project will see the Trust work with 10 different Primary/Junior Schools in Gloucestershire. 6 Schools will be supported with Football PE lessons, working with 2 teachers from each school for 8 weeks on supporting them with delivering high quality football lessons in PE. The first 6 sessions will be majority of the coach leading the session with every week the teacher getting more involved. The remaining 2 sessions are completely teacher led with the coach supporting when needed.

Another 3 Schools in Gloucestershire will have fun and fitness interventions delivered for 8 weeks at each school to help increase children to participate in physical activity. These sessions are set up with the aim to try get children active with games that can be completed outside of school with friends or family. 2 Coaches will work with a group of 16-20 children over the 8 weeks.

Girls only football will also be delivered to selected primary schools in Gloucestershire to help support girls taking part in football, 1 school will be new to the funding. The Trust will also visit schools to deliver PHSE assemblies and will deliver a boys and girls football tournament in summer months for all schools to take part in.

The final part of funding allows the trust to complete a gifted and talented day which will be held at the main stadium. Schools will have the opportunity to invite a few students to the event which will include a stadium tour and a coaching session delivered by a member of staff. As a Trust we would like to thank the Premier League for given us the opportunity to deliver these exciting projects.
